Terms & Conditions

1.1 Quotation Validity

All quotations issued by House of Decor are valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing.

1.2 Pricing

All prices are quoted in the currency specified in the quotation and include UAE Value Added Tax (VAT) where applicable, unless expressly stated otherwise.

1.3 Acceptance

A quotation does not constitute acceptance of an order. Orders become binding only upon written confirmation by House of Decor and receipt of any required advance payment.

1.4 Revisions

House of Decor reserves the right to amend or withdraw any quotation before an order is confirmed.

2.1 Order Confirmation

Orders are considered confirmed only after:

Written acceptance by House of Decor; and

Receipt of the applicable advance payment.

2.2 Changes to Orders

Any requested changes to specifications, dimensions, materials, colors, or quantities after confirmation may result in revised pricing, production schedules, and delivery dates.

2.3 Cancellation

House of Decor reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order before production begins.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

Custom & Made-to-Order Products: 70% non-refundable advance payment upon order confirmation and the remaining 30% payable before dispatch or delivery.

Ready-Stock Products: Full payment prior to dispatch or collection unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Production will commence only after the required advance payment has been received.

Late payments may incur reasonable administrative charges or interest where permitted by applicable law.

Production and delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Lead times may vary due to:

Material availability

Artisan production processes

Customer-requested changes

Shipping or logistics delays

Government regulations

Events beyond our reasonable control

House of Decor will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed of significant delays.

5.1 Delivery Dates

Estimated delivery dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.

5.2 Risk & Ownership

Risk in the products passes to the Customer upon delivery or collection. Ownership remains with House of Decor until full payment has been received.

5.3 Inspection

Customers should inspect products upon delivery and report any visible shortages or damage within 48 hours.

5.4 Failed Deliveries

Additional delivery or storage charges may apply where delivery cannot be completed due to Customer-related reasons, including incorrect addresses, restricted access, or failure to accept delivery.

If products are ready for delivery but dispatch is delayed at the Customer's request or due to Customer-related circumstances, House of Decor reserves the right to charge reasonable storage fees after providing prior notice.

Our products are handcrafted by skilled artisans using natural materials.

Accordingly, minor variations in:

Color

Texture

Pattern

Weave

Finish

Dimensions

are natural characteristics of handmade products and shall not be considered manufacturing defects.

Custom-made products are manufactured according to Customer-approved specifications.

Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving all artwork, dimensions, materials, colors, and specifications before production.

Once production has commenced, custom orders cannot normally be cancelled, modified, exchanged, or refunded.

Samples are intended to demonstrate the general quality, craftsmanship, materials, and colors of our products.

Due to handcrafted production and natural materials, slight differences between samples and final products may occur.

House of Decor warrants that its products are free from manufacturing defects at the time of delivery.

This warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear

Natural fiber shedding

Improper installation

Improper cleaning or maintenance

Misuse or abuse

Moisture or water damage

Excessive sunlight exposure

Pet damage

Accidental damage

Alterations performed by third parties

11.1 Ready-Stock Products

Ready-stock products may be returned within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase, provided that:

The return request is submitted within 14 calendar days.

The product is unused, uninstalled, and in its original condition.

The product is returned with its original packaging, labels, accessories, and documentation.

Proof of purchase is provided.

House of Decor reserves the right to inspect the returned product before approving a refund or exchange.

11.2 Custom & Bespoke Products

Custom-made, bespoke, personalized, or made-to-order products are manufactured specifically for each Customer and are therefore non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or in the event of a verified manufacturing defect.

11.3 Non-Returnable Products

Returns will not be accepted for:

Custom-made or bespoke products

Products that have been installed or used

Clearance or sale items (unless defective)

Products damaged due to misuse, negligence, or improper care

11.4 Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method after the returned product has been inspected and accepted.

Delivery, installation, and other service charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a verified manufacturing defect or an error by House of Decor.

11.5 Damaged or Incorrect Products

Customers must notify House of Decor within 48 hours of delivery if products are received damaged or materially different from the confirmed order. Supporting photographs and relevant information may be requested to facilitate the claim.

Customers are responsible for:

Providing accurate specifications and measurements.

Reviewing and approving all drawings and artwork before production.

Ensuring safe and suitable access for delivery.

Following the recommended care and maintenance instructions.

All product designs, artwork, catalogues, photography, branding, graphics, website content, and related intellectual property remain the exclusive property of House of Decor LLC unless otherwise agreed in writing.

No material may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or used commercially without our prior written consent.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, House of Decor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the purchase, delivery, installation, or use of its products.

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the Customer for the affected order.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

House of Decor shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Natural disasters

Fire

Flood

Pandemic

Government actions

War

Civil unrest

Labor disputes

Transportation disruptions

Supplier delays

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

House of Decor reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website with a revised Last Updated date.
